Who can see my screen when I share?

Only the people in the room you are currently in. Sharing is scoped to your room, and there is no public link that could leak it elsewhere.

Do I need a separate app or browser extension?

No. Screen share is part of the office and runs in the browser over the same LiveKit media pipeline as your video. The desktop apps support it too.

Is screen share included on every plan?

Yes, including Free.

Can screen share run self-hosted?

Yes. It uses the same self-hostable LiveKit media server as audio and video, so on a self-hosted deployment your screens stay on your own infrastructure.
