How does per-seat pricing work?
You pay for people, not floors. A seat is a team member who can sign in; you can build as many floors and rooms as you like on every paid plan. Guests visiting your guest spaces are always free.
What happens when my team outgrows the Free plan?
Nothing breaks and nothing is lost. Moving to a paid plan keeps your floors, layouts, chat history and settings exactly as they are. During early access, plan changes are arranged with our team, so write to us when you are ready.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly billing?
Yes. During early access, billing is arranged with our team, so write to us and we will change it. Yearly billing costs less per user each month, as the prices above show.
Do you offer discounts for nonprofits or education?
Yes. Registered nonprofits and educational institutions get 50% off Team and Business plans. Write to us from your organisation's domain and we'll set it up.
What does self-hosting involve?
A single VPS with Docker is enough for most teams: media server, application server, and reverse proxy ship as one compose stack. We publish a full runbook, and Business-tier support covers self-hosted deployments too.
Is my audio and video recorded?
Only when someone in the room starts a recording. Calls are encrypted in transit and are not stored otherwise. Transcripts and AI minutes are made afterwards, from a recording, never from a call that was not recorded.
How does recording consent work?
Recording is off until someone in the room starts it. At that moment everyone in the room is told, and so is anyone who walks in while it runs, with the option to leave the room. A recording indicator stays on screen until it stops, and afterwards the people who were there can play back exactly what was captured.
How long do you keep recordings, transcripts, and summaries?
Until someone in your organisation who manages meetings deletes them. There is no automatic expiry, and deleting a recording also deletes its transcript and minutes. Self-hosted deployments keep everything on your own infrastructure.
